Sherman Lee Criner founded THE WORKERS’ COMPENSATION LAW FIRM to provide specialized services in the field of workers’ compensation law. Sherman is one of the few attorneys in North Carolina with substantial experience in representing injured workers, employers and insurance companies in workers’ compensation claims. Currently in North Carolina there are over 19,000 attorneys licensed to practice law and of those, fewer than 60 are Board Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialists. Sherman is a Dispute Resolution Certified Mediator and mediates or arbitrates over 300 cases a year. Sherman is also licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
